Research Assistant at ICTM

She will be part of the activities presented in WP2 and WP4.

She completed her Bachelor studies iin 2018 at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy of the University of Belgrade. She completed her master's studies in 2019 with the selected master's thesis at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy. She enrolled in her Doctoral studies at the same faculty in the study program of Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology in 2020. Since March 2021, she has been employed at the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy in the Center for Catalysis and Chemical Engineering.

Scientific interests

Within her research in the field of biotechnology, she is interested in the synthesis and characterization of inorganic materials based on bentonite clay and the investigation of the immobilization conditions of hydrolytic enzymes with potential application in the food industry on such obtained materials. In addition, her area of interest is the production and purification of the glycoside hydrolases enzymes and engineering of proteins.

Usavršavanje

As part of student training, she will visit the Loschmidt laboratory in the Czech Republic, where he will learn to use computational tools for protein engineering.
