ORCID ID 0000-0003-3242-4054

Research associate at ICTM

She participates in the implementation of WP1, WP2, and WP4 of the project UniCorn.

She graduated and earned a PhD degree in 2023 at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. Since 2016 she has been employed at the University of Belgrade - Institute of Chemistry, Technology, and Metallurgy, an institution of national importance for the Republic of Serbia.

Scientific interests

Production of enzymes and enzyme complexes of filamentous fungi, purification and characterization of individual enzymes; optimization of the use of obtained enzymes for the production of value-added products - dietary fibers and oligosaccharides of prebiotic activity as well as their characterization; identification of filamentous fungi; genetic modification of individual fungal strains to improve the production of enzymes of interest.

Engagement on projects

She has been involved in a national project (FP 172048), one international project (CRP/YUG11-02, ICGEB Research project), and one bilateral project between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Austria (451-03-02141/2017-09/20).

Cooperation

She maintains successful scientific cooperation with the Institute for Pesticides and Environmental Protection in Belgrade, as well as the Institute of Chemical, Environmental, and Biological Engineering, Technical University of Vienna, Austria, during several stays in the periods from 2019 to 2023 through Erasmus+ and the bilateral project.
