Research Associate at ICTM

Participates in the realization of the UniCorn project.

Research Associate at the Institute of Chemistry, Technology, and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, concurrently pursuing doctoral studies in Biochemistry at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Chemistry. She completed her Master's degree in Biochemistry in 2019 and her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry in 2018, both from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. In the 2019/2020 school year, she enrolled in the first year of her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Chemistry, namely the Biochemistry study program.

Scientific interests

Her research focuses on pectinolytic enzymes from fungi and bacteria, encompassing their production, characterization, and application in biotechnology, utilizing techniques from microbiology, enzymology, molecular genetics, and experimental biochemistry.

Engagement in teaching

She was appointed as a teaching assistant (2019-2021) at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, for the courses Experimental Biochemistry and Chemistry of Natural Products. From 2021 to 2023, she worked as a Research Junior in the Physical Chemistry Laboratory of the Institute for Nuclear Sciences "Vinča". Since 2023, she has been employed at IHTM as a Research Associate.
